• When printing is complete, let the PEI Sheet cool down enough (to around 40C), then easily remove the prints. If the print is still stuck, just gently bend the steel plate and pop it off! After many times printings, lightly scour the surface of the PEI with some mild steel wool with 400 grit will have great adhesion or use alcohol to clear it and let it dry. 

The Flexible Build System solves your print bed issues. Filament uniformly sticks to the surface during printing and easily pops off when printing is done.

The Flexible Build System is comprised of 3 parts each developed using special technology and materials.

• ·        Magnetic Base. Attaches to printer bed keeping the Flexible Build System and your print securely in place during printing. The Magnetic Base is made from special material that is resistant up to 130° C. Pre-backed with high temperature 3M adhesive for easy installation.

• ·        Flexi Build Plate. Attaches to the Magnetic Base. The Flexi Build Plate easily lifts off the Magnetic Base when printing is done. Flex the plate and prints just pop off. The Flexi Build Plate is made from high quality spring steel that won't kink or warp when flexed.

• ·        PEX Build Surface. Adheres to the Flexi Build Plate. The PEX Build Surface is constructed of a proprietary and specially formulated polymer with a higher melt point than even PEI. The PEX Build Surface softens when heated to attract most filament then hardens when cooled so prints pop off when flexed. Pre-backed with high temperature 3M adhesive for easy installation.
